1995年毕业于中国科学院上海生物化学研究所,获理学博士学位。1999-2001年间在美国德州大学西南医学中心生理系从事博士后研究,2004年至今在南京大学任教授。长期从事小鼠遗传学、平滑肌收缩生理学与疾病研究。在系统生物学水平,研究阐明了平滑肌收缩钙机制、钙敏机制的分子基础;从平滑肌角度,系统阐明了胃肠动力调节机制、肛门括约肌的自发收缩机制、哮喘高反应性形成机制、肥胖性高血压形成机制等。在此基础上,开展平滑肌相关疾病(如胃肠病、哮喘、血管病、神经退行性病变等)的发病机制研究和转化研究。研究成果分别发表在 gastroenterology(2008、2013)、j clin invest.(2022)、pnas(2015、2022)、j. biol. chem.
