xin zhang is a chief physician, professor, doctoral supervisor, postdoctoral supervisor, deputy director of neurosurgery at the chinese people’s liberation army eastern theater command general hospital (nanjing jinling hospital, affiliated hospital of medical school, nanjing university). he is also the director of the neurointerventional center in the neurosurgery institute of the chinese people’s liberation army, and the head of the first batch of neurointerventional training base of the chinese national health commission. he has been actively involved in various professional organizations, serving as a member of the neurointerventional committee of the chinese medical association, the neurointerventional group of the neurosurgery branch of the chinese medical association, and the neurointerventional committee of the neurosurgery branch of the chinese medical association. he is also a standing member of the surgical committee of the stroke prevention and control project committee of national health commission, a member of the neurointerventional branch of the chinese stroke association, a standing director of the jiangsu stroke association, and a deputy director of the neurointerventional committee. he is also a member of the standing committee of neurosurgery branch and head of neurointervention group of jiangsu medical association, a member of interventional medicine branch and head of neurointervention group of jiangsu medical association, a member of stroke branch of jiangsu medical association, and a deputy director of neurosurgery branch of nanjing medical association.
furthermore, he has published more than 90 articles, including over 30 articles in sci journals, as the first or corresponding author. he has also presided over 8 projects of the national natural science foundation of china as the first person in charge, with a total research funding of nearly 4 million. for his contributions, he has been awarded the first prize of jiangsu province new technology introduction award and the third prize of army science and technology progress award. he also won the third-class merit once.
